Commonly known as the Shasta Daisy.
The original was actually just a snapshot that I took when I was bored, so a relatively high amount of correction was needed:
i like the depth of field you've got going on, but i feel it gets blurry abit too quickly on the front flower....
only other crit is that maybe get rid of the other colours besides the darkest in the background which will make the other bums pop out abit more...
(you've got some dark bluish/purple hues, as well as the greens, which i don't think you need in this particular instance)
ok, and maybe it would have been better not to cut the edges of the petals off the front flower with the frame...
I realy like the perspective of the main flower...for me I feel the flowers in the background could be blurred more to take away the distortion....

Well, I know it's "just a snapshot" and all, but I'm thinking I like this one just for what it is...
It's like you actually cloned a lot of daisies Love the angle you've taken this in, and the detail on the main flower.
But maybe if you'd like to fiddle more with this one, Znow & Zimm's tips might come in very handy ^.^

Thanks Zimm I appreciate all the honest feedbact you've given me recently
About cutting the petals off, actually, I may have cropped some off unintentionall, as I do remember cropping some on the bottom. I'll have to check that out when I get back...
Unfortunately there's not really much I can do about the DOF as that's how it was in the original..
When you say "get rid of the extra colors", what exactly do you suggest? Perhaps lowering the saturation?
Secondly, yeah, I'll definitely be playing with this one a bit (or a lot) more... However I don't really have the time to do it now as we're leaving on our trip at midnight and we need to make sure we have everything packed and whatnot...if you haven't read my lengthy recent journal (which is fine by me, the thing is a book) ot read it at Utopia (which is again, perfectly fine, I'm not getting mad at you or anything ) we're leaving for Europe for about 2 1/2 weeks..
no problem od...
you really deserve it, coz i can see how much you're improving over the last year...
you've got a great eye for composition
extra colours, yeah, try lowering the saturation them (actually, i'm not that familiar with stuff like saturation and the photofilters, coz i don't really use them all taht much) but yeah, try to diminish the other colours, or in some way darken them so they don't stand out that much

Secondly, don't sweat it xD Take your time when you feel like it
I know you're leaving for a whole roundtrip ^.^ I just didn't reply to it coz somehow I kinda forgot >.<
I read every word tho O.o Woohoow, you didn't expect that did ya xD
Hope you have a most lovely time in Europe, and keep an open mind Europeans are worthwhile, and not everyone has a "hate" towards Americans trust me, as long as you don't go all patriotic (which I hardly know Europeans to do either ) Have a blast!!!

Thanks again Zimm
Zimmy the know it all, however, says that he thinks it gets blurry too quickly, so now I have to decide on who to believe
